Dr. García obtains his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico and moves to Massachusetts to do his medical internship at the Boston University School of Medicine.  He returns to Puerto Rico to do his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the UPR Medical Sciences Campus. His personal calling for Orthopedic Radiology takes him to San Diego where he completes his education with a subspecialty in Musculoskeletal Radiology.

 

 

He did his subspecialty at the University of California at San Diego, under the guidance of Dr. Donald Resnick. Dr. Resnick is an eminence in the Radiology field and author of 16 books and more than 900 articles on the musculoskeletal specialization.

 

Dr. García Guerra is certified by the American Board of Radiology and is a member of the American College of Radiologists.

 

After practicing as a radiologist at the University of California Hospital, he starts his career in Puerto Rico at Menonita Hospitals. Eventually, he becomes the Medical Director of the Radiology Department of these institutions. He was also Medical Director of the Department of Magnetic Resonance of the Advance MRI Group of Puerto Rico and Radiology Associates, Inc.

 

Condado MRI is born out of his desire to offer his specialized services from a physical facility dedicated completely to the orthopedic patient. The kind of studies that Dr. García Guerra is qualified to do is highly sophisticated and extremely important in the diagnosis of musculoskeletal conditions. The medical community and the patients they represent now have a new option when it is time to find answers.
